With all the media frenzy and the incredible international response to the devastation in Haiti over the past 10 day the voice of Radio Diaspora could not be more timely in bringing an insightful and probing discussion about Haiti. Given the chaos, confusion, dis-organizations, and criminal failure of the international community and NGO's to address the crisis in Haiti in a well organized, coherent, and professional manner that could have saved many more lives, is indicative of how Haiti and it people have been treated throughout it's history. To help Haitian people throughout the country well beyond Port Au Prince, speaks to how little people know of Haiti and understand it's rich history......revolution, resourcefulness, survival.
independence

I salute Radio Diaspora and the host of this broadcast, Kali Ahset Amen for an eye opening prospective on Haiti in both historical terms and real time. I will be listening for more of your good and important work.
